Cultural Events
Cultural Events are usually held on a Thursday evening at the end of each month, and include a variety of guest speakers and themed nights. They are usually held at the Notaras Multicultural Centre following the first hour of conversation classes.
The Cultural program for 2010 is available: Dante Cultural Activities 2010. It will give you an idea of the variety of topics covered. One such event was the Venetian Carnevale evening held in February 2008, where members where encouraged to make and wear their own maschere (masks), and were treated to a talk on the significance of the Carnevale in the Italian cultural calendar.
